The company introduced a new methodology with a different price structure and wanted to add a new calculator to the existing “Calculation” page. ┬áSince the input number for both calculations was the same, it made more sense to alter the existing code to make entry a one-step process for site visitors. Type in one number, get two answers!

A custom javascript / JQuery script handles the calculations and uses an “onChange” handler to allow the calculation to update as the user types in their entry, making the interface as simple as possible.
