The company serves customers from all over the world via online assessments, but lacked real-time reporting. After hearing consultants continually speculating about which Countries provided the most activity, I decided to create on online report.
Since the site already used WordPress and Gravity Forms to collect user data, I was able to create a simple shortcode to extract the raw data from the Gravity Forms entries. The code parses the data and summarizes the country of origin, providing output in either a plain list or a sortable table, all within a password-protected WordPress page. Mix in a little JQuery magic & voila! A sortable table!
Fort the first time, consultants and administrative staff had access to real data about their business.
